Halsted Street's New American "mainstay" is a "cozy", midpriced Lakeview "neighborhood place" with an urban look as a backdrop for a "solid menu", special martinis and "pleasant service"; a "diverse, hipper-than-usual clientele" adds to the "city atmosphere", and it "gets pretty crowded most nights with the Boys Town crew"; P.S. it's "well located for dinner before Briar Street Theatre".
